  7. Dresser/Drawer (with wheels makes it comfortable to use)
  8. Diaper changing station (preferably not portable)

  3. Cloth bibs (8 to 10)
  4. Nursing Bra

  6. Nipple Cream (to relieve soreness - wash off before nursing)

  7. Nasal aspirator/bulb suction (to clear the baby's stuffy nose)

  3. Thanks girls for this list! Great job! I would also like to add Ponchos or wraps to it if you plan to breast feed the baby, you just slip them over your head, and the baby can be fed even in the most crowded of places (I used these extensively in India, and nobody knew when Jeeya would feed!!!) An improvised cotton Dupatta can also do the job!

    i have a suggestion for major items like :-
    1) crib 2) travel system 3) bottles e.t.c
    if we could create polls on which brand did junta use --we would be able to get stats ..on which has been the most popular one
    ex:- 1)travel system options a) graco,b)chico other --specify e.t.c

    i am ready to take it up ... and then we can publish the results in this blog .. in a seperate or related section

    Graco & Fisher Price high chairs r good...go for the high chair that has 5 point harness..The ones with 3 pt harness r not that safe for a 6 month old baby.
